HOC Bistro & Bar

In Jakarta's bustling SCBD district, HOC Bistro & Bar (HOC) has become a second home for Do Good in Asia (HOC - House of Caring). This vibrant restaurant and bar has warmly welcomed us, hosting multiple fundraising events that raised millions of Rupiah to serve Jakarta's most impoverished communities. HOC's generous spirit and dedication to purpose have made our efforts stronger and more impactful.

One of our proudest achievements together was raising crucial funds for Captain Budi Soehardi, a 2009 CNN Hero, to support his mission at Roslin Orphanage in West Timor. Thanks to the support generated through HOC-hosted fundraisers, we were able to hire a full-time teacher for the orphanage, providing stability, education, and hope to dozens of children.

HOC's ongoing commitment is critical to our giving efforts throughout Southeast Asia. By offering a welcoming space and actively raising funds, they've helped bridge hearts and actions, supporting causes from Jakarta's neighborhoods to Timor's classrooms.
